Overview
As the Senior Design Director for Logitech User Experience (January 2019-April 2022) and VP of Design for Logitech Products Solutions (April 2022- August 2024) I oversaw the research, ideation, prototyping, user testing, and design delivery for multiple applications and software services for users ranging from from gamers to IT professionals, from Gen X to Gen Alpha and many in between.
As a company not especially known for it’s software, under my leadership the Logitech UX team focused not only on developing best-in-class design language system and delivering incredible design but in researching user needs and validating user scenarios to ensure software provided value to the end user.
Logitech Options+
User centered designed platform for providing subscription services as well as settings and options designed to help productivity workers do more with their day-to-day software and Logitech devices — designed for novice and advanced users.
Design included DLS creation and implementation for use by all non-gaming Logitech SW.
Logitech Posture Coach
Designed for everyone, the Logitech personal posture coach provides machine learning derived recommendations based on image capturing to improve posture while working. Design challenge centered on designing a helpful tool that would be considered helpful by end users and not invasive or annoying — requiring significant research into posture data considered most valuable to the users.
Logitech Sync
Designed for IT professionals to easily deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot workspace and meeting room devices this free application built utilization services for facility managers on their room tracking data turning this free service into the first revenue generating software in Logitech.
Logitech Tune
Designed for IT managers on-the-go as well as enterprise office employees, the Logitech Tune app was created to help "tune" audio products but was expanded to support hotel workspace reservations, calendar integrations, and workspace configuration giving users an easy to use app for managing their work experience. Design challenge centered on developing valuable integrations to ensure app was memorable and sticky.
